I don't know anyone.
In all honesty, I'm a complete and utter coward who has never lived outside of my home town- so the prospect of moving somewhere ALONE where I know NO ONE is frightening. I won't even be in a dorm or something- I'll be going to a community college for 6 months to a year so I can then transfer as an instate student to SCAD or Ringling. I need to find an apartment and a job. I figure that moving to my dream is the best thing to help me achieve it.

And I would like to have acquaintances there.
I can't recall where most people live- but do any of you live in Sarasota or Savannah?

So, for those of you not up to date, I have been jobless for 6 weeks now. (but because my employers didn't tell me I was unemployed for a week I couldn't properly file for unemployment for the whole time. Fun.)

I am now down to 28 dollars. (Later today I'm going to search my car, couch, and other purses for cash. I am also going to go through my books, my most prized possessions, and see if I can sell any of them.)
The electricity company is going to demand I pay them soon- and at this point, I will have my electricity shut off some time this week if I can't make some money and pay them.

I just now opened a letter from the unemployment office saying that I don't qualify- and I can't call them until Monday to see why. But either way, without that money- I can't pay for my electricity. For my rent. For my food. ( more on how poor I am )

I am selling off my babies personal sketches. Not all of them of course (dude, I have so much art you guys have not and will never see)- but a fair few.
Tons of the ones I did within 2 days of reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!

So, I feel seriously shamed, but I'm flat out begging.
PLEASE buy something. Anything.
Even just a $5 piece WILL help.

I'm also having a live 'FIVE DOLLAR COMMISSION MARATHOOOOON' on the 17th. All day I'm doing commissions for $5 a pop- quick sketches- and immediately scanning them and putting them up.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ABOUT GREY'S- SOME SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW- BUT NOT THE FINALE.
Lexie/Karev squicks me out. I really love Karev, in all his asshole glory- and am so TIRED of him being the second choice of vulnerable overly emotional girls. Why won't they just let him have a fucking nice girl who chooses him? (yeah yeah- izzy chose him first in season 2... whatev- i don't like Iz for the majority of Grey's- and only wanted them to work out for his sake.

I don't like Lexie all that much. She is like lame-Izzy. All 'life is great! i connect with patients! WOUNDED EYES!!! WOUNDED EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Annoying. She hardly ever has good lines. At least Izzy had good lines occasionally. Also, she has nothing interesting in her past, it seems- and I just don't find her intriguing in the least bit.
She never feels real to me- sort of like a lame Mary-sue complete with super powers (photographic memory.)
Sloan/Lexie squicks me too. I only like it for Sloane- who I LOVE. He is so fun.

After izzy was finally gone (seriously, they butt-raped her character so bad- I blame Katherine Heigl- who didn't give the writers enough of a timeline for them to do shit with her character- and am mad at the writers for not trying harder to give us a satisfying goodbye with her. Hell, they should have just KILLED her rather than do what they did....)

Ok, so Cristina is totally my fave character. Always has been. I find her lack of charm charming, her wit wonderful- love her so much. I like Owen too (or did, they sort of make him weird-lame sometimes. I LOVED him in his intro. I LOVED their 'victorian non-touching moments' lol.)

I love Cristina, Sloane, and Bailey.
I really like Alex, Callie and Owen.
I'm a bit fond of Arizona, and am starting to like that sexy new blue-eyed intern- he is smart and cool.
Teddy, I like, but feel had nothing in her except awesome surgical skills and thing for Owen- anything else there? Anything? Hmm....
I like Mer and Der ok, they just never were all that interesting to me.
